AI Journal

This Journal is about my first day in "Joe?" TKD class at 2:30pm-3:20pm, TR. This is a beginner class but we have lots of students. There's about 33 students in the class. J taught them horse stands, middle punch, and front stands. Few of students have had some martial art "training experience". However, most of the students cannot do the stands or punches well. I was told to walk to the students and help them do the stands and punches properly. Because most of them seems not sure where and how to put their fists and feet. Now I understand that why J needs assistants. I will say one is not enough, he need more! Because it is impossible to help every student do the stand and punch properly before their next move. Some of the student is learning fast. I will only need to do a sample, give them a signal by showing them the correct move or position, and then they will be able to do it properly. At least can do it better. However, for some student its take a time to help them. Doing sample or giving signal is not enough, I will need to walk close to them and help them to do the stand or punch by communicate and adjusting their body. Some of them can do much better, but some of them still cannot do the moves properly. Thats why in the first class, I have only helped about half of the students. I didn't have enough time to go over everyone. Therefore, may be I should set a time limit of helping each student so that I can go over more students.
